Food Pantry

Hello and thank you for your interest in our food pantry.  The little food pantry box started out as a vision by one of our Sunday School teachers to give back to the community and teach his students to think of others in need.

After having students at CAT Pickering School design and build the kiosk it was officially blessed and dedicated in June of 2021 in a ceremony which included Mayor Peter Urscheler and representatives from CAT Pickering School and one of the students who helped build it.  It has been in constant use since!

Just outside our church’s social center on Starr Street this kiosk is filled weekly with food and toiletry items to help our fellow neighbors.  Anyone who needs a helping hand are cordially invited to take whatever is needed - its available 24/7//
